Hello. My name is karina marques de sousa de nooijer and i am a real carioca (i was born in rio). While growing up in santa teresa, a beautiful, interesting and artistic neighborhood of rio de janeiro with many foreigners, i already had the possibility to practice my english throughout my childhood. Later on, i became a teacher for children who i tought how to read and write in portuguese for 6 years. In 2000, i married and moved with my husband to europe where i started to give portuguese classes for foreigners. Next to giving classes, i studied and improved my english in the netherlands until returning to brazil in 2004. Since then, i additionally give english classes for brazilians and portuguese classes for foreigners. In total i"ve collected my portuguese teaching experiences in the last 15 years.
